A quintessential Northumberland farmhouse home B N B, in stunning countryside. The room was huge, yet comfortable with classical furniture and a beautiful period feel, with all the modern touches. Breakfast was the best I have experienced anywhere. It actually surpassed what we were offered when staying in London at Horse Guards, in terms of the variety on the cooked breakfast menu and on the self serve buffet, and in terms of how delicious and beautifully prepared it was. The breakfast / dining room is like a home set in an Agatha Christie book. The host and overall welcome is warm and friendly.

Bathroom large and well stocked with shampoo etc. Friendly and helpful owner who supplied a fabulous breakfast with so much choice. The two evening meals we had were hot, tasty, promptly served and plenty on the plate. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely house and gardens in a well situated quiet and beautiful part of the country. We would recommend Rockmoor House to friends and family and we hope to return there again.

We stayed here as we were at a wedding at Charlton Hall, only a 5 minute drive down the road and a lovely place! The room was lovely, clean and well presented. Breakfast in the morning was also fantastic. Would really recommend staying here when in the area!
